Fava Bean Hummus (GF, Vegan)

Use organic ingredients when possible! 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups shelled and cooked fava beans (almost 2 pounds unshelled)
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 large clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions


  1. In a food processor, combine favas, tahini, garlic, lemon and salt. Pulse until well combined. Slowly add water until hummus reaches desired consistency. Garnish with a drizzle of olive oil, a sprinkle of cumin and a handful of cherries.
