Sound Healing at The San Diego Museum of Art
During this meditative practice, harmonious sound waves fill the space as you relax on a mat and receive vibrational medicine from crystal singing bowls, gongs, drums and chimes. Deep relaxation is one of the most significant benefits you will receive as the sounds permeate your system, activating the body’s system of self-healing and returning it back to harmony. The sounds from the instruments produce a calming effect that slow down the brainwaves for restoration and rejuvenation.
Like with most alternative healing modalities, everyone’s experience is different, and new things may come up in each session. Most people will feel peaceful during a sound healing; some might have visualizations, receive creative downloads, or have an emotional breakthrough.
